Still Aiming for COTS Walk Goal

We had a fabulous COTS Walk on Sunday, May 3

-- sunny skies, lots of new walkers and teams, and good energy all around. More than 1,500 joined us at Battery Park for the 3-mile walk through COTS shelters and festivities at Battery Park.

People were tremendously generous in their support, particulary in these economic times. We are so grateful for everyone who contributed by walking or donating.

We are still a bit short of our goal, however. As of Monday, June 22, we have raised $171,000 -- an impressive amount, but still $14,000 short of our goal. At this time of great need in our community, it is critical that we raise this additional amount in order to cover the costs of our expanded shelters and services.
