If You Need Shelter
If you are a family in need of shelter:
Please come to our office Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. to meet with a family case manager. We can serve only one new family per day, and meetings are on a first-come, first-served basis. The COTS office is located at 179 South Winooski Ave., at the corner of King Street, middle level (1 floor down from street level).
If it is a weekend or after 5 p.m. and you you have absolutely no other options, call or stop by the Main Street Family Shelter (864-2651; 278 Main St.) or the Firehouse Family Shelter (862-6567; 120 N. Champlain St.).
If you are an individual in need of shelter:
Please come to the COTS Daystation Monday through Friday, 10 to 11 a.m., to meet with a case manager. The Daystation is located on the lower level of the COTS administrative office at 179 S. Winooski Ave. (corner of King); enter from the back of the building, off King Street.
If it is the weekend, come to the COTS Daystation between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to talk with a staff person and inquire about shelter availability and/or other options. After hours, go to the COTS Waystation, located at 187 Church St. Staff on duty will discuss the options with you.
